As the Earth rotates, all the constellations appear to rotate around Polaris, the North Star in this composite image. The radio towers in the foreground provide a modern technological contrast to the stars which have been in the heavens since the beginning of time.

Lindsay Thomson is a photographer who specializes in a variety of landscape images. Her photos have garnered her awards in juried exhibitions locally and internationally.
