As the Earth rotates, all the constellations appear to rotate around Polaris, the North Star. The landscape is dotted with towering pinnacles of tufa. It reminds us that although it is desert now, at one time this land used to be under the sea.
About Lindsay Thomson
Lindsay Thomson is a photographer who specializes in a variety of landscape images. Her photos have garnered her awards in juried exhibitions locally and internationally. Living in Southern California in close proximity to local beaches, Lindsay enjoys photographing sunrises, sunsets and long exposure images over the ocean.
