The dark night sky in Alabama Hills, California is almost void of light pollution. The Milky Way travels silently over the Sierra Nevada Mountains as it has since the beginning of time. The brightest part in the Milky Way is the Galactic Center and contains millions of stars.

Lindsay Thomson is a photographer who specializes in a variety of landscape images. Her photos have garnered her awards in juried exhibitions locally and internationally. Living in Southern California in close proximity to local beaches, Lindsay enjoys photographing sunrises, sunsets and long exposure images over the ocean.
