During golden hour, the sun reflects its rays on the Los Angeles skyline. The skyscrapers shimmer and shine like a city of gold. In the distance, recent rain storms blanket the San Gabriel Mountains with fresh snow. A heavy layer of clouds and fog conceal the base of the mountains and create a purple backdrop for the skyline.

Lindsay Thomson is a photographer who specializes in a variety of landscape images. Her photos have garnered her awards in juried exhibitions locally and internationally. Living in Southern California in close proximity to local beaches, Lindsay enjoys photographing sunrises, sunsets and long exposure images over the ocean. A national forest is close to home and offers many opportunities for photography as well. She enjoys astrophotography, specifically Milky Way and star trails combined with unique foreground elements.
