The radio telescope searches for the soul of the universe. "I am here." said the Milky Way. "I have been here since the beginning of time."

This image won a Honorable Mention Award in the prestigious 2020 International Photography Awards. An international jury of renowned photography experts judged a total of 13,000 entries from 120 countries around the world. 

Lindsay Thomson is a photographer who specializes in a variety of landscape images. Her photos have garnered her awards in juried exhibitions locally and internationally. Living in Southern California in close proximity to local beaches, Lindsay enjoys photographing sunrises, sunsets and long exposure images over the ocean. A national forest is close to home and offers many opportunities for photography as well. She enjoys astrophotography, specifically Milky Way and star trails combined with unique foreground elements.
