The setting sun drops behind the ocean near the end of the pier like a white-hot ball of fire. Sizzle. The sky and clouds explode into brilliant colors of orange and yellow. People on the Ventura Pier enjoy the spectacular light show while the American flag waves in the ocean breeze.

Lindsay Thomson is a photographer who specializes in a variety of landscape images. Her photos have garnered her awards in juried exhibitions locally and internationally. Living in Southern California in close proximity to local beaches, Lindsay enjoys photographing sunrises, sunsets and long exposure images over the ocean.
