Description
The iconic Portland Head Light is one of the most visited lighthouse in New England. And with good reason, it is a beauty. George Washington asked that the tower be built from the local rubble stone. The building was completed in 1790 and dedicated in 1791 by Marquis de Lafayette.
A filter was added for a misty, light refracting effect.
