Description
Today was a perfect sunny day to enjoy the sand and surf near Carpinteria. The wind has died and the paragliders with their colorful wings have long since gone home to dinner. Night begins its journey across the skies. Motorists zoom along Highway 101 in Southern California to get where they are going.
This long exposure image creates long ribbons of tail lights, head lights that wind its way down the coast and reveals creamy, blurred ocean surf as it splashes upon the beach. It's a fitting image to a perfect Southern California day.
