The Milky Way settles over driftwood teepees on a moonless night over the ocean. The planet Jupiter shines brightly near the center of the sky as the Galactic Center seems to stretch out its arms to capture it. The lights from the oil platforms sparkle over the horizon reflected off the wisps of fog above the sea.

Lindsay Thomson is a photographer who specializes in a variety of landscape images. Her photos have garnered her awards in juried exhibitions locally and internationally. Living in Southern California in close proximity to local beaches, Lindsay enjoys photographing sunrises, sunsets and long exposure images over the ocean. A national forest is close to home and offers many opportunities for photography as well. She enjoys astrophotography, specifically Milky Way and star trails combined with unique foreground elements.
