Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Matilija Poppies are native to California. Their brilliant white petals are a harmonious contrast to the golden yellow, saturated centers. They are sometimes referred to as "Sunny Side Up Poppies". A filter was added for a painterly effect.
